Ripley Kids Program: Ages 5-8

Learn to Ski or Snowboard Program for ages 5-8. Six weeks of 90 minute group lessons beginning January 10, 2026 at 10:30 am and/or 1:00 pm.

Deadline for registration is December 21, 2025.
Includes lessons, rental equipment and daily lift ticket.

After School Program 2026 begins the week of January 5th and runs for 6 weeks. Deadline for registration is December 21, 2025. To best serve all of our students, capacity in groups will be limited. Register early to guarantee placement.

Mont Ripley strictly adheres to the Michigan Ski Area Safety Act. The Safety Act, along with Your Responsibility Code, and the Assumption of Liability are posted at the Ticket Office and at various locations within this Ski Area.

Skiing and snowboarding are inherently hazardous sports. You acknowledge and accept all risks, including those related to terrain and snow conditions, ice, and natural and man-made obstacles, whether marked or unmarked. You realize that falls and collisions can occur, and may result in injury or death. You agree to ski and/or snowboard in control at all times, and assume all responsibility for your own safety.

By participating, all individuals, including adults and minors (thought their parents or legal guardian) agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Mont Ripley and Michigan Technological University from any and all claims arising from participation, to the fullest exent permitted under Michigan law.

Equipment Rental and Liabilty Release
By choosing to rent equipment from Mont Ripley, you are agreeing to the following:

1 Responsibilty for Equipment: I accept the rental equipment as-is and agree to be fully responsible for its care. I will be charged for any damage or loss, up to the full replacement value of the equipment. I promise to return all equipment after each use. 
2. Acknowledge of Risk: I understand that skiing and snowboarding are dangerous sports that carry inherent risks, including serious injury or death. I willingly accept these risks. 
3. Binding are NOT Foolproof: 
Skiing: I understand that ski bindings are designed to reduce, but not eliminate, the risk of injury. They will not always release in a fall, and its impossible to predict when they will release.
Snowboarding: I understand that snowboard binding are not designed to release during normal use.
4. Release of Liability: I release the rental shop, its employees, and equipment manufacturers froma ll liabilty for any injury, death, or proprty damage that results from using this equipment, even if its due to their own negligence.
5. Indemnity: I agree to protect and conpensate the rental shop for any costs or losses they incur from my use of this equipment, including any lawsuits or claims.
6. Agreement: I confirm that I have read and fully understand this agreement. If I am the parent or guardian of a minor, I confirm that I have the authority to sign on their behalf and agree to all terms.
