This fall we will be introducing a new safety management series that we are offering in conjunction with the Iowa Illinois Safety Council. This series is designed for individuals who are responsible for managing or implementing safety programs at their place of employment. Because of the nature of how safety programs are structured, we recognize some employers may have many individuals involved in this process.
This training program covers a standard OSHA curriculum and successful participants will receive a completion card from OSHA. The course focuses on how to identify, abate, avoid, and prevent job related hazards on a job site. Topics covered include: walking and working surfaces, exit routes, emergency action plans, fire prevention plans, fire protection, personal protective equipment and hazardous communication. Participants also learn about employer responsibilities and worker rights.
