Accuplacer: In-Person At Bentonville Campus

Purchase for Prospective and Current NWACC Students ONLY

This form is only for testers that are wanting to take classes with NWACC (concurrently or after high school graduation). If you are testing for a college or university other than NWACC (for example UA, UAFS, UALR, SAU, AR TECH, NWTI, Ecclesia), please use the Accuplacer for Other Institution purchase instead.


This form is for testers scheduling an in-person appointment at the NWACC campus in Bentonville. 

Time Allowed:
The Accuplacer is a self-paced, computerized exam that demonstrates academic preparedness in reading, writing, and math. This means it is UNTIMED for all testers. The exam is entirely multiple choice questions. 

Calculator Use:
A built-in calculator within the test itself is available on the computer screen during the math section. The specific calculator features available to the test-taker change as appropriate to the question being asked.

Text Formatting:
Font sizes and background colors are adjustable. 


Accuplacer has online study guides/practice tests available at accuplacer.collegeboard.org. It is highly advisable that you refresh your skills before taking this placement test.

• Bentonville Campus Testing Center Hours for Accuplacer are:
    Monday - Thursday from 8:00am - 8:00pm (last test seated at 5:30pm)
    Friday - Saturday from 8:00am - 1pm (last test seated at 10:30am)
    Sunday - Closed

THE BENTONVILLE TESTING CENTER WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE FOLLOWING DATES. ACCUPLACER ORDERS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED DURING THESE TIMES AND ANY APPOINTMENT REQUESTS FOR THE FOLLOWING DATES WILL BE DENIED:

• You understand that you must have a valid photo ID to test. Pictures of IDs will NOT be accepted. 

• You must purchase your exam 2 business days in advance.  Please do not request testing dates with less than 2 days notice. Seating is limited and specific days/times are not guaranteed. 

• Once you have completed your purchase you will receive an automated email with your receipt. This receipt is not a confirmation of your appointment. You will receive another email from Testing Services confirming the date and time of your appointment. Your order will be processed by Testing Services within 2 business days of your purchase. Appointments are NOT set until you get a confirmation email regarding your appointment date and time. *Check the email you listed on your purchase request!

• No personal items will be allowed into the testing room.  Please see our Requirements and Policy web page for a list of prohibited items. Testers are required to secure their belongs in lockers prior to testing. Failure to properly secure these items will result in your test not being administered. Students will be given scratch paper, and a calculator is built into the test.

• Questions cannot be rephrased. Testers are not permitted to ask for clarification of what is meant or how to respond. 

• Though the test itself is not timed, you must complete it during the Testing Center operating hours. If the Center is closing, but you have not yet completed the test, you will be required to pause your exam and return another day to finish. We encourage testers to arrive early enough in the day to be confident they can complete the test before closing.

• Scores are not available until all sections that you’ve signed up to take are completed. Once complete, you will leave the testing session with your score report.

•Testers will also receive an email from Accuplacer with a link to an electronic copy of their score report. The link is only good for 72 hours, so testers are encouraged to monitor closely.

•Testing must be completed within a year of the purchase date.
