Foreign Language (French or Spanish) Placement Information 

This exam provides students with the opportunity to place into either Elementary II or Intermediate-level language courses. It is administered at both of NWACC’s Testing Centers, located in Bentonville and Springdale. Upon completion, the exam will be evaluated by the international language faculty, who will then offer guidance regarding appropriate course placement. The evaluation process generally requires one to two weeks. The examination is free of charge and has an estimated duration of approximately sixty minutes.

Terms and Agreements for the Foreign Language Placement Exam  

• You understand that the Foreign Language Placement exams are offered Monday -Thursday from 8:00am - 6:00pm in Bentonville and Monday - Thursday from 8am - 2:30pm in Springdale.

TESTING SERVICES WILL BE CLOSED THE FOLLOWING DATES:

MONDAY, MAY 26TH
THURSDAY, JULY 3RD
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 1ST

• You understand that you must have a valid photo ID to test. Pictures of IDs will NOT be accepted. 

• Same day appointment requests are not accepted. Specific days/times are not guaranteed. Seating is limited. 

• Once you complete your purchase, you will receive an automated email with a receipt. You will receive a second email confirming the date/time of your appointment once your order is processed by Testing Services staff. Please allow 2 business days for processing. Appointments are NOT set until you get the confirmation email for your appointment. *Check the email you listed on your purchase request! 

• No personal items will be allowed into the testing room. Please see our Requirements and Policies web page for a list of prohibited items. Failure to properly secure these items will result in your test not being administered.
