Emotional Health Practitioner Program

Become an Emotional Health Practitioner. Neural Network Therapy® was developed in 1997, largely in response to advancements in neuroscience. As we evolve our understanding of the brain, it’s important that therapy evolves too.

NNT® is the sole approach used by Emotional Health Practitioners and this program is designed to equip you with tools and resources to improve emotional health and wellbeing. This training is suitable for anyone looking to increase their interpersonal skills while addressing mental health with a holistic lens.

The exercises are simple in that they can be delivered to people of all ages, but their impact is profound. We are looking to breakdown unwanted habits in both thought and behaviour while building brand new habits (neural pathways) in their place.

This program is self-directed and provides visual aids to support the development of private practice, for those in the field of emotional health care. For those new to the field, our aim is to provide resources that are adaptable for countless classroom, work, home and social environments. Lessons can be monetized for future use in teaching and counselling.  Ideal candidates for this microcredential program should be comfortable navigating various digital platforms and have a moderate level of digital literacy.

Emotional Health Practitioner graduates may apply for an upgrade and extension of this program in a live online paid practicum or professional development stream. This version of the program provides ample interaction with instructors for those who feel they require additional support, and the cost is reflected in the difference.  Successful candidates receive a registration number alongside their certification, under the umbrella of Canadian Family Health Counselling. Contact grow@canadianfamilyhealth.ca or visit canadianfamilyhealth.ca/ehp for more details.

Prerequisites: While there are no specific requirements for the asynchronous version of the Emotional Health Practitioner Program, our applicants are often those in the helping and educating professions. Nurses, Teachers, Social Workers, Social Service Workers, Psychotherapists along with parents and guardians, PSW's, Life Coaches, Yoga Instructors and those wishing to improve their own emotional health and well-being also find this program of value.
