*Advanced Mediation: Integrating Artificial Intelligence into Mediation Practice*

As artificial intelligence transforms the legal profession and dispute resolution, mediators must understand how to use emerging technologies ethically, effectively, and strategically. This advanced mediation course explores the intersection of AI and mediation, equipping experienced mediators with practical tools to enhance preparation, communication, case management, and settlement outcomes while maintaining the human-centered skills that are essential to successful mediation.


Participants will examine how AI can assist with case analysis, issue identification, document review, drafting mediation summaries, developing negotiation strategies, generating settlement options, and improving administrative efficiency. The course also addresses the ethical and professional responsibilities surrounding AI use, including confidentiality, bias, transparency, data security, and the appropriate role of human judgment.


Through demonstrations, case studies, and hands-on exercises, participants will evaluate leading AI tools and learn best practices for incorporating them into their mediation practice without compromising neutrality, party self-determination, or trust.
