Learn the basics of canning fruits and vegetables from local farms and home gardens through a unique, hands-on canning workshop. The workshop will be held Thursday, August 9th, from 1:00pm-4:30pm at the Greenville County Extension Office (301 University Ridge, Suite 4300, Greenville, SC, 29601). The registration fee includes a product canned in class and the Ball Blue Book ®. Please wear closed-toe shoes.
The ServSafe® food safety training uses material from the National Restaurant Association (NRA) and is taught by Clemson University Extension Agents who are Registered ServSafe Proctors and Certified ServSafe Instructors by the NRA.
