The Joint Clemson-UGA Colloquium was initiated in 1973, and is still held annually with the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Clemson University and the Department of Statistics at UGA alternating as hosts of the event. Each year, the event aims to invite a leading statistician to come to visit with the faculties and students from both Clemson and UGA and to give a talk.
