Established in 1990, the Master Termite Technician School is designed to provide practical training for e The next scheduled class dates are April 10-11, 2024 and October 16-17, 2024 at the Lakehouse at Sandhill REC (900 Clemson Road) in Columbia, SC. Instructors cover material in a classroom setting and through field work at a house foundation with a variety of construction elements. Students are challenged by learning how to treat using a variety of techniques. After successful completion of a hands-on and written test, technicians are recognized as Master Termite Technicians. They are awarded a certificate and patches for their uniforms to signify their achievement. Graduates of the two-day program receive five recertification credits. Criterion for the school is based on technicians’ experience and proven skill. Enrollment is limited and participants are encouraged to sign up early.
