Clemson University Composting has compost available for purchase by the public. Compost may be picked up at the Cherry Crossing Research Facility Monday through Friday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY when made at the time of purchase when receipt is received. Bagged Compost can also be purchase at the Clemson Farmers Market. Please call or text (864-643-6030) for questions.

Compost is high in organic content and ideal for raised beds, potted containers, mulching, and garden soil amendment. It is created from captured food waste and wood chips generated from campus.

Leaf mold or leaf mulch is ideal for soil conditioning and water retention in soil. It is created from composting collected leaves and grass clippings from campus.

Screened material contains no particles over ⅜”. All unscreened products sold may contain medium to large woodchip and minimal inorganic material.

All prices listed are by the cubic yard unless bagged. Please enter the number of cubic yards you would like to purchase in the quantity box. Bulk pricing has a 5 yard minimum order. Please bring a printed receipt and valid CU ID for pickup.
