Wake Up With the Birds! Guided bird watching hike with Robert Carter, PhD, Extension Forestry and Wildlife Agent

Wake up with the birds and join us on Friday, April 18 at Nature as Teacher Preserve for a guided birdwatching hike with Robert Carter, PhD, Extension Forestry and Wildlife Agent!

This guided hike offers a chance to see a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. No experience is required—we will lead you through the best birdwatching spots, sharing tips and tricks along the way. Bring your binoculars and a sense of curiosity as we explore the birds that call Nature as Teacher Preserve home. Gates open at 7:30am. We will leave the trailhead at 8:00am. Get ready to connect with nature in a whole new way. This walk is perfect for beginners, but all levels are welcome! The guided portion of the walk will be approximately one hour. Questions? Directions:
From Walmart in Camden head north on Springdale Drive, toward the race track. Chestnut Ferry Road (a dirt road) crosses over Springdale drive at the bend. Turn left onto Chestnut Ferry road and continue down until you see our pinecone logo sign. Our driveway is the last on the left. After proceeding through our gate, do not stop in the maintenance lot. Continue down our long driveway, past the right turn, and into the parking area. You will see our green and tan restroom building. The bus parking is just past the building on the left hand side.
