SAFE Homeschool Group 

SAFE Homeschool Group is invited to visit the Nature as Teacher Preserve for Education on Friday April 11th from 10am-12pm, and picnic lunch from 12-1pm. We will be learning about awesome animal adaptations on the trails and in our creek! Please help students dress for the outdoors and for weather. Rainboots or watershoes encouraged along with full, reusable waterbottles. All learning supplies provided.

Trips are $10.00 per student. Younger tag-along siblings and adults do not need to register. Only students using materials need to be registered. The registrations are only refundable in the case of cancelation due to weather. We run programs in light rain, but will cancel or reschedule in the case of extreme weather.

Our preserve is located at 247 Chestnut Ferry Road in Camden, SC. Sometimes GPS will tell you to stop short of our driveway or direct you to drive past it. Look out for the pinecone logo sign! Driving Directions: From Walmart in Camden head north on Springdale Drive, toward the race track. Chestnut Ferry Road (a dirt road) crosses over Springdale drive at the bend. Turn left onto Chestnut Ferry road and continue down until you see our pinecone logo sign. Our driveway is the last on the left. After proceeding through our gate, do not stop in the maintenance lot. Continue down our long driveway, past the right turn, and into the parking area. You will see our green and tan restroom building.
