SCBG Docent Orientations Fall ‘24- Spring ‘25

Do you like interacting with the public? Do you have an interest in plants or nature in general? Whether it’s orienting visitors, assisting with children’s programs or camps, or leading tours for various ages, we have an volunteer opportunity for you! We are seeking docents to support our mission of education and outreach and to enhance the visitor experience at the SCBG.

Orientations introduce attendees to our various docent opportunities (weekday and weekend) and provide participants with information about the SCBG's history, mission, garden spaces and features, as well as techniques for communicating effectively with the public.
