CSPR Certification 2024

The two-day course will:
 

• Teach attendees the latest techniques for storm water and sediment control
• Introduce a variety of erosion control practices including the most environmentally effective techniques for various terrain
• Demonstrate how to review grading and drainage plans, as well as BMP details
• Provide an opportunity to meet others involved in land disturbing activities and for attendees to learn how to develop a stormwater and sediment control plan
• Allow discussion of issues with regulators and learn to complete relevant forms and submissions in an efficient and thorough manner
• Help prepare attendees for the exam which is part of the process for becoming a SC DHEC Certified Stormwater Plan Reviewer

Individuals will be automatically registered for the corresponding examination date at no additional cost. Online and in-person exam options are available.

All classes begin at 8:30 a.m.
All exams begin at 9:00 a.m.

In-Person Exam

Contact the CSPR office to set up an in-person exam or retest not associated with dates above.

Online Exam

Testing will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. for all online exams. In order to have access to the online exam, each participant must successfully complete and submit the practice exam in Canvas no later than 5:00 p.m. the day prior to the exam.

Equipment Not Supported for Online Testing

• Connecting from within a virtual machine. You will be asked to reconnect using your host operating system to take your exam
• Apple Boot Camp
• Remote Access Software
• Inactive Version of Windows and Test Builds/Test Mode
• Microsoft Edge browser
• Windows 10 and 11 in S mode or Surface RT
• Linux operating systems
• Google Chromebooks
• Tablets (Nexus, iPad, Tab, Note, etc.)
• Smartphones

Additional Requirements for Online Testing

• A functioning microphone (some web cameras have them built-in); the microphone should not be part of headphones.
• Headphones are generally not permitted, check with your testing organization to determine if headphones are permitted.
• If you are using a work-issued device, Admin access is required to Download.
