CEPSCI Retest 2024

The CEPSCI retests are provided as make-up testing dates for individuals with scheduling conflicts or as a result of unsatisfactory grades.

If you have registered for an upcoming class, you are already registered for the exam; separate exam registration is not necessary.

In-Person Exam

Testing will begin promptly at 9:00am for in-person exams. On site check-in is 8:00am – 8:45am. All participants must be seated prior to 8:45am. Late arrivals after 8:45am will not be admitted.

Please be sure to bring your Driver’s License and a number 2 pencil.

All in-person exams will be held at the River Center in Columbia.

Online Exam



Testing will begin promptly at 1:00pm for all online exams. In order to have access to the online exam, each participant must successfully complete the practice exam in Canvas by 11:00am the day of testing.

Equipment Requirements for Testing



Equipment Not Supported for Testing

• Connecting from within a virtual machine. You will be asked to reconnect using your host operating system to take your exam
• Apple Boot Camp
• Remote Access Software
• Inactive Version of Windows and Test Builds/Test Mode
• Microsoft Edge browser
• Windows 10 and 11 in S mode or Surface RT
• Linux operating systems
• Google Chromebooks
• Tablets (Nexus, iPad, Tab, Note, etc.)
• Smartphones

Additional Requirements

• A functioning microphone (some web cameras have them built-in); the microphone should not be part of headphones.
• Headphones are generally not permitted, check with your testing organization to determine if headphones are permitted.
• If you are using a work-issued device, Admin access is required to Download.
