Tiger Band CD

The Clemson Steel Band’s new CD, We’re Steel Here, is now available and is dedicated to the late Cliff Alexis, legendary builder, tuner, performer, composer, and director of the Northern Illinois University Steel Band and builder of Clemson’s steel drums in 2002. The CD features a variety of musical styles including soca, calypso, rock, funk, and a tribute to Mr. Alexis with his composition Luv It, featuring Percussion Professor Paul Buyer on vibraphone, followed by the steel band’s arrangement of Tiger Rag! This is the band’s 4th CD.
