Welcome to the 2019 United States University Debating Championships

Held at Clemson University


We are so excited to host you at Clemson University from April 11th-16th. Here you will be paying for your registration fees for 2019 USUs. All payments must be made by March 15th, 2019 or the team will be dropped from the roster. The fee schedule for the tournament is as follows:

$150 per team
$75 per judge
$150 per observer

If your university does not allow for credit card payments, please send a check made out to Clemson University and in the memo line please write “Clemson Debate”.

Regarding the number and type of participants attending, please provide in a separate email to ClemsonUSU2019@gmail.comterasa@clemson.edu the following:

Number of Teams
Number of Judges/Name; (remember the n-1 rule)
Number of Observers/Name

Totals must equal payment totals: 5 Teams listed @ $150/team; payment = $750
4 Judges @ $75 per Judge; payment = $300
8 Observers @ $150 each; payment = $1,200
