Joint Clemson-UGA Colloquium

The Joint Clemson-UGA Colloquium was initiated in 1973, and is still held annually with the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Clemson University and the Department of Statistics at UGA alternating as hosts of the event. Each year, the event aims to invite a leading statistician to come to visit with the faculties and students from both Clemson and UGA and to give a talk. It is always an intellectually stimulating event and offers a chance for the two universities to interact with each other, and build collaborative relationships. Such a relationship can be especially fruitful due to the geographic proximity of the two campuses.
