New License - Private License

NOTE: Persons holding a private applicator’s license may use or directly supervise the use of a restricted use pesticide, but ONLY for the production of an agricultural commodity on property owned or rented by them or their employer, such as a farm. Please submit the below Private License fee upon completing and passing of the private applicator training and exam.

The current fee for a private license is $10.00.

If you hold a valid commercial or non-commercial applicators license, dealers license, or are a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) and desire to obtain a private license, please contact Tammy Henderson at dprpa@clemson.edu

Reciprocating? If you have a private pesticide applicator license in another US state or territory, you may apply for a private applicator's license in South Carolina. You must reside out of the state of SC to qualify for this method of licensing. Contact Tammy Henderson at dprpa@clemson.edu to request a reciprocal private license application before paying the pro-rate private licensing fee online.
