Topics include honeybee biology, composition of honey and its uses, parts of a beehive, beginning with bees, requeening, swarm prevention, feeding bees, handling the honey crop, honey plants, migratory beekeeping, blooming dates of honey plants, rendering beeswax, diseases and pests of bees, removing bees from houses and trees, and construction of a 10-frame bee hive. Publications are currently only available for pick-up from the Georgetown County Extension Office.
