Employment benefit requested from U.S. Department of Homeland Security and International Services for use following period of post-completion OPT. The STEM OPT extension is a 24-month period of employment authorization directly related to an F-1 student's program of study in an approved STEM field.
OPT STEM Annual Evaluation – Nonrefundable $200 fee to cover review of OPT STEM Annual Evaluation. Each STEM OPT student must complete and submit to their DSO an annual self-evaluation describing the training experience's progress, material changes to current employment, and change of employers.
