PA³HENA IS . . . the P rovost A cademic A ffairs A ssistants in H igher E ducation, N ational A ssociation: PA³HENA is the first professional development and national networking opportunity specifically for academic affairs administrators who support Chief Academic Officers from all categories of accredited higher education institutions.

PA³HENA Offers . . . the opportunity for academic affairs professionals to contribute to, and benefit from quality programming relevant to the effective management of Academic Affairs organizations. PA³HENA is a supporting and productive environment where Provost Assistants (Pas) can build professional networks and relationships regionally and nationally. Your participation in PA³HENA is an investment in the effectiveness of Academic Affairs professionals nationally.

Your current membership expires June 30, and If you choose to renew, your new membership will be valid July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019.

Our structure has changed
PA3HENA now offers Institutional Memberships. This Membership includes three initial representatives! Yes, three! You can also add additional representatives for only $25.00 each. What a value!

If you need a reminder
PA3HENA Institutional Members include all types of accredited, degree-granting nonprofit and for-profit colleges, institutions and systems. Representatives support senior administrators from provost offices, schools, and other academic units. Our wonderfully diverse membership makes PA3HENA the inspiring organization that it is. Your PA3HENA Institutional Membership gives each representative:
  • The opportunity to share resources
  • The opportunity to communicate with, inform and educate one another regarding best practices in higher education
  • The opportunity to participate in a forum for the development of academic affairs best practices
  • An environment in which they can discuss current academic issues of importance
  • The ability to offer other senior academic administrators an opportunity to communicate with, inform, and educate one another
  • A voice in establishing PA3HENA through voting rights and the ability to serve on committees or run for the Board
  • Access to all PA3HENA communications
  • Reduced registration fees for the 2019 PA3HENA conference.


PA³HENA institutional membership (for three persons) is $100

PA³HENA institutional membership cost for each member after three is $25.00

Example: institutional membership for four persons is $125.00 – for five $150.00 and so on

How to Renew Your Membership
We are promoting online payments. All major credit cards are accepted.

If your institution requires an invoice please contact Brenda Smith-Allen at bjs@clemson.edu or 864.710.6118.

All major credit cards accepted. After applying for membership, you will receive an email notification with user information and a welcome message with your invoice attached as a PDF. Please check your spam folders for these emails if you do not receive them.

We are trying to reframe from mail in payments, so please pay by credit card if possible.

If credit card payment is not possible, please contact the PA³HENA Executive Director for further information:

Refunds will not be available for institutional membership

Prices range from $25.00 to $100.00 (price depends on options selected)

Registration cancellations received prior to February 1, 2018 may be eligible to receive a refund less a $75 service fee.

Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.

Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend.

Cancellations will be accepted in writing only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.

All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder.

Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number.

Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.
