Exploring Lowcountry Waterways 4-H2O Camp

Serving 10-13 year olds of Charleston, Dorchester, Berkeley county

Camp Dates: June 24-28, 2019

Time each day: 8:30-4pm

Cost per Camper: $155 ($10 discount if they are a 4-H member)

Camp Activities and Skills Learned: 4-H2O is a hands-on science inquiry program focused on developing knowledge about local water resources. Camp activates include fishing, water sampling, canoeing, walks on the beach, meeting with experts, learning about drinking and waste water, and so much more.

What will be provided: Morning and afternoon snack, water bottle, note pad, pen, string backpack, nametag, sunscreen & bug spray.

What TO bring: Hat, special sunscreen or bug spray if needed, lunch, dress to be outside, medications/EpiPen if needed.

What NOT TO bring: digital devices (cameras/phones), weapons, toys/games.


Camper Drop-off & Pickup: Brittlebank Park Playground, Charleston.

Other Important Information: : This is an outdoor water exploration camp. Youth will need to be dressed to explore the outdoors, including close toed shoes. Each days’ activities are different, parents will be notified when sandals, towels, or swimwear are needed. If youth participant has special needs or is not comfortable on or in the water, please let us know at time registration.
