The 11th Annual Clemson University Fall Forum. This one day educational program will offer a total of five recertification credits in South Carolina. Three credits will be in Category 7, one credit in category 3, and one credit in Category 8.

The Apprentice Termite Technician School provides one day of intense instruction and hands-on experience for new termite technicians. Teaching includes the recognition of standard construction features, how they are built and how to treat them. This program is located at the Sandhill REC, Columbia, SC.

Only 24 registrations will be accepted. All others will be placed on a waiting list. Masks must be worn at all time while indoors at the Sandhill REC Lakehouse.
 

Community Youth Organization (CYO) online training modules are available for purchase individually or together.

Established in 1990, the Master Termite Technician School is designed to provide practical training for e The next scheduled class dates are April 10-11, 2024 and October 16-17, 2024 at the Lakehouse at Sandhill REC (900 Clemson Road) in Columbia, SC.

This program is part of a continuing effort by Clemson University to provide services designed to update and increase the efficiency of professionals from public and private institutions and independant consultants in the fields of plant pathology and nematology. Accurate nematode identification is important in the management of turfgrass, field and fruit crops and vegetables.

This 3.5 hour virtual program is designed for individuals brand new to termite control. Specific topics will include termite and termiticide basics, common points of termite entry into structures, SC termite treatment standards, basic treatment calculations and short videos on proper termiticide application. .

Recertification is required of all fully certified OBPP Trainer-Consultants every three years to keep pace with new bullying prevention research, OBPP training modifications, and OBPP model expansion.
The cost of recertification is $375.00. Registration includes access to the option that you have selected for recertification and a certificate sent from Clemson upon verification completion of the requirements. Recertification lasts for three years from the date noted on the certificate.

Requests made between 6 months to 18 months after certification expiration date:
• Cost $475.00 (recertification fee $375 plus a late fee of $100)
• *Must complete 26 recertification units (original 20 units + 6 additional units)
• Trainer-Consultant must complete the recertification process by December 31st of the year enrolled in the recertification process.
• The certification date will be three years from the original December 31st deadline
 

(OBPP Trainer-Consultant certification expired within past 6 months)

Requests made within past 6 months of certification expiration date:
• Cost $425.00 (recertification fee $375.00 plus a late fee of $50)
• • Trainer-Consultant must complete the recertification process within 6 months of request to return.
• The certification date will be three years from the original December 31st deadline
