The ACT On Campus is an institutional exam offered to prospective UTRGV students as a college entrance exam only. The multiple-choice tests cover four skill areas: English, Math, reading, and Science. You must have applied, been admitted, or be enrolled at UTRGV. ACT policy states that students’ ACT On Campus scores are sent to UTRGV only.
RETEST POLICY:60-day waiting period. Examinee must wait 60 days before retaking ACT On Campus.
ON DAY OF EXAM, YOU MUST: 1) Report to UTRGV Testing Services located at: 1407 E Freddy Gonzalez Dr., Edinburg, TX, ECESS Bldg. RM 1.102 at least 15 minutes prior to your testing time. ACT policy states that a student will not be allowed to test once test books are distributed.
2) Bring photo identification. Acceptable forms of identification are as follows: A) Current (valid) official photo ID, must be issued by your school or city/state/federal government (such as driver’s license or passport/passport card) on which both your name and recent photo appear. B) ACT Student Identification Letter with current Photo: You must present the ACT Student Identification Letter. It must be completed by a school official or notary public. The official or notary may not be a relative. All items must be completed C) ACT Talent Search Identification Letter: If you are participating in an academic talent search program and were not required to submit a photo with your registration you must present your ACT Talent Search Identification Letter. If your school- or government-issued ID is not in a hard plastic card format, use an ACT Student Identification letter in lieu of or in addition to your school- or government-issued ID. You will not be admitted without proper identification. The following are examples of unacceptable identification: birth certificate, charge bank, check cashing, or credit cards with or without photo, diploma, Childfind ID, fishing or hunting license, graduation picture or family portrait, ID issued by an employer, ID letter that is not an official ACT ID letter, leaner’s driving permit/temporary or replacement driver’s license (if it doesn’t include a photo), organization membership card, passport or other photo so old that the person presenting it cannot be identified, photocopies or reproductions, phone calls to the test center to identify the examinee, photo ID issued by a business for promotional purposes (e.g. amusement parks), photo ID of parents, photo with student’s name embossed or printed on photo by a photographer, printed, stamped, or photocopied signatures, police report or a stolen purse or wallet, published photo, including yearbook or newspaper, report card, social security card, traffic ticket, even with a physical description and signature or web page with photo, no photocopies are allowed. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PHOTOGRAPHIC IDENTIFICATION, YOU WILL NOT BE ADMITTED TO TEST.
3) Certain approved calculators may be used during testing. Please go to www.act.org for a listing of approved calculators.
4) Do not bring cellular phones or other electronic devices; they will not be permitted in the testing room.
REFUND POLICY: The registration fee for this exam is non-refundable.
TRANSFER POLICY: Fees for this exam are non-transferrable, including exam date, time, or location.
SCORE REPORTS: Available the next day at ECESS 1.102. A valid photo ID will be required to obtain a copy of your scores.
