** Important Payment information regarding CLEP:

UTRGV Testing Services is proud to be a Fully Funded DANTES CLEP site. Please contact us to obtain a coupon code for your $25 sitting fee; if you are registered with College Board and have a ticket that reflects that you are DANTES funded. Please be prepared to show your military ID.

You will be responsible for two different payments, a payment of $93 to CLEP and a payment of $25 at our website. Please make your $93 payment at the CLEP website first. You will go to this website: http://clep.collegeboard.org/register/exam Create a CLEP account. When you create an account, you will be given a ticket ID, which is your proof of payment and is good for up to 6 months. You must have your ticket ID number with you when you test, without the ticket ID number you cannot test! Please print out your CLEP ticket and bring with you the day of the exam. The final step will be selecting a day to test at our testing center and making your $25 payment **

Students can earn course credit at UTRGV in a wide variety of subject areas through CLEP Subject Examinations, which are standardized computer based 90-minute, multiple choice tests. For detailed exam descriptions and study resources, visit: www.collegeboard.com/clep

ON THE DAY OF THE EXAM, YOU MUST:

1) Report to UTRGV Testing Services located at UTRGV at St. Joseph's Academy - 101 Saint Joseph Drive Suite 100. Brownsville, Texas, 78520 at least 15 minutes prior to your testing time. Students will not be allowed to test 15 minutes after start time.
**DIRECTIONS**
Traveling South on Highway 77/83 in Brownsville use the left lane to take the ramp onto I-69E S/US-77 S/US-83 S. Take the exit towards 6th Street. Merge onto S Expressway 83/Frontage Rd. Turn left onto Palm Blvd. Follow Palm Blvd to CALLE RETAMA and turn right. Your destination will be to the right. Turn right to St. Joseph Drive. UTRGV at St. Joseph Academy and Parking will be to the left.
**************************** IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION******************
A temporary visitor parking permit is required, please come into the Testing Office to receive your temporary permit. Our Testing Office is located in Suite 100.
2) Effective July 1, 2014, one form of government-issued identification will be acceptable for CLEP test-takers. A secondary form of ID will no longer be required. The primary identification must be valid and current, must bear the test-taker’s full name in English language characters, and must contain a photograph and a signature.
3) Your ticket ID from the CLEP website will confirm your $90 payment. Please print out your CLEP ticket and bring it with you on the day of the exam. **

If you are taking a language-based exam during the tutorial section please make sure the volume is to your liking. If you need assistance with the volume, please notify the test administrator. This must be done during the tutorial section before the start of the actual examination. **

REFUND POLICY: The $25 test service fee for this exam is non-refundable.

TRANSFER POLICY: Fees for this exam are non-transferrable, including exam date, time, or location.

SCORE REPORTS: Official score reports are posted to your transcript approximately three weeks after the exam.

CREDIT GRANTING POLICY: UTRGV does not grant CLEP credit for a class in which you have already received a letter grade. CLEP credit cannot be used to clear Financial Aid deficiencies. You do not receive a letter grade for CLEP; it will be posted as a credit (CR) on your transcript.
