IMPORTANT – Exam Eligibility
You must be cleared by TCEQ before your exam date. If there are any holds on your account, you will not be allowed to test and your exam fee will be forfeited.

Fees & Policies

  • Registration Fee: $35 non-refundable. No refunds or reschedules for incorrect registrations.
  • Transfers/Reschedules: No changes to exam date, time, or location are allowed. As a result, request to transfer or reschedule the exam will not be honored.
  • Seat Fees: Valid for one attempt only. Additional attempts require a new reservation and fee.

( The Brownsville Test Center is not located at UTRGV's Main Campus. Please use the off-campus map.) 

  • Arrive 15 minutes early. Late arrivals (15+ min) will not be admitted.
  • Bring a valid, non-expired driver’s license and a basic calculator.
