DescriptionTMAC will deliver a comprehensive three-day training workshop designed to build awareness, understanding, and competency in Lean Six Sigma Leadership. The course will also equip participants with the skills necessary to plan, conduct, and implement Operational Excellence initiatives.


Day 1: Lean Foundations & Operational Context

Introduces Lean Six Sigma fundamentals with a focus on waste reduction, process flow, and the connection between operational performance and equipment efficiency.


Lean principles and the 9 wastes

Flow, cycle time, and process efficiency

Introduction to OEE (Availability, Performance, Quality)

Standardized Work, 5S, and Visual Management

Basic Autonomous Maintenance concepts


Day 2: Problem Solving & Equipment Reliability

Develops structured problem-solving skills and introduces key concepts to improve process stability and equipment reliability.


DMAIC framework and problem-solving approach

Root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone)

Introduction to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)

Processing Mapping with operational focus (cycle times, lead times, etc.)


Day 3: Implementation, Financial Impact & Continuous Improvement

Focuses on applying improvement methods, evaluating financial impact, and sustaining continuous improvement efforts.


Kaizen and continuous improvement strategies

Financial impact (cost of waste, downtime, and inefficiencies)

Identifying and prioritizing improvement opportunities (maybe)

Gemba Walks

Roles, accountability, and sustaining improvements
