Rising Risks and Changing Needs: Enhanced Flood Training -- February 5, 2025 -- 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.

This course offers the learner a fine overview of flood insurance, risks addressed, property covered and not covered by the NFIP flood policies coverage parts and common guidelines. A particular focus is on current trends in flood insurance, namely, rising risks associated with flash flooding, climate change and property replacement costs, opportunities for coverage under excess and private flood policies and a way for urban areas to mitigate flood damage though “sponge cities.”

This course will provide 3 credits of Continuing Education and will satisfy the NY DFS requirement of Enhanced Flood Training for all producers who sell the NFIP Flood Policies.

This course is approved for the following licenses: BR, PC, PA ,C3  (3 credits). 
Taught in a live webinar format.
