The ATI TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) is a standardized, multiple-choice exam developed by Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI) to assess a candidate's foundational academic skills for admission to nursing and other health science programs. The test is divided into four sections—Reading, Math, Science, and English and Language Usage—and serves as a requirement for many health science programs to gauge a student's readiness to succeed in their studies.

NOTE: Beginning September 2025, all TSC Nursing program applicants will be completing the ATI TEAS exam as part of the application process.

IMPORTANT: If you have taken the HESI exam twice within the 2025 calendar year, you are not eligible to test with the ATI TEAS exam.  If you have any questions, please to contact the Nursing Department at (956) 295-3576.
