Special Education: Working with Individual Learning Needs, Challenging Behaviors, and IEPs

This workshop will address many aspects of special education, including a brief look at history and the laws that support students with disabilities. Participants will develop strategies and lesson plans that address the individual learning needs and behavior supports that are addressed in students’ IEPs. Participants will have an opportunity to share ideas and successes while investigating Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and other academic, behavioral, and social emotional support systems to increase successful student engagement.
