Summer Nursing Academy at Emmanuel College

The Nursing High School Academy is an exceptional weeklong, overnight program that introduces students to the breadth and depth of the nursing profession. Throughout the week, participants engage directly with nurses from a wide range of specialties and gain meaningful insight into the many career pathways within nursing.

During the Academy, students tour leading Boston hospitals, earn certifications in CPR and Stop the Bleed, and take part in hands-on skills sessions such as wound packing, dressing changes, and hanging IVs. They also participate in high-fidelity simulations in our state-of-the-art Simulation Suites.

In addition to the nursing-focused curriculum, students experience life on a vibrant college campus. Participants live in the residence halls, access campus resources, explore the Fenway neighborhood through guided tours, and contribute to the Boston community through service-based learning activities.
