Science of Reading

Science of Reading …. Now what? “How do I bring all that I’ve learned about the Science of Reading into my reading and writing instruction?” In this collaborative workshop we will learn how to turn research into practical classroom solutions. We will discuss universal screening and effective interventions for all students including students with dyslexia and English Language Learners. Strategies and tools for engaging instruction in phonemic awareness, phonics, syllable division, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension will be highlighted. Bring your questions, your curriculum, your ideas, and your energy. All teachers K-6 welcome.
