The UW Farm 

The UW Farm is a 1.5 acre student-powered urban farm & educational facility located on the University of Washington's Seattle Campus. 

Our mission is to be the campus center for the practice and study of urban agriculture and sustainability, and an educational, community-oriented resource for people who want to learn about building productive and sustainable urban landscapes.
 
The UW Farm sells a number of products:

  • CSA shares
  • Floral bouquets
  • Farm team gear
  • Vegetable starter plants

Cost of CSA Memberships in 2024:

Farmer's Market Style:

  • Full Season CSA Faculty/Staff/Alumnus/Neighbor:  $850 (or two monthly installments of $425)

  • Full Season CSA Students (current):  $800 (or two monthly installments of $400)

  • Summer Session CSA Faculty/Staff/Alumnus/Neighbor:  $600 (or two monthly installments of $300)

  • Summer Session CSA Students (current): $550 (or two monthly installments of $275)

  • Peak Season CSA Faculty/Staff/Alumnus/Neighbor:  $300 (or two monthly installments of $150)

  • Peak Season CSA Students (current):  $250 (or two monthly installments of $125)

Boxed:

  • Full Season CSA Faculty/Staff/Alumnus/Neighbor:  $925 (or two monthly installments of $462.50)

  • Full Season CSA Students (current):  $875 (or two monthly installments of $437.50)

  • Summer Session CSA Faculty/Staff/Alumnus/Neighbor:  $650 (or two monthly installments of $325)

  • Summer Session CSA Students (current):  $600 (or two monthly installments of $300)

  • Peak Season CSA Faculty/Staff/Alumnus/Neighbor:  $325 (or two monthly installments of $162.50)

  • Peak Season CSA Students (current):  $275 (or two monthly installments of $137.50)

(All of these prices include an online processing fee.)

In addition to our seasonal products, please consider supporting the UW Farm with a donation.
 
The Urban Farm Support Fund provides broad support for activities of the UW Farm, including:

  1.  Purchasing supplies, soil, fertilizer, seeds, pots, tools, hoses, etc.
    • $10 = ability to purchase two packets of organic tomato seeds
    • $25 = ability to purchase a new hand tool or gloves
    • $50 = ability to purchase one new wheelbarrow
    • $100 = ability to purchase a pair of fig trees, apple trees, or other fruit plants
  2.  Production of informational and outreach communication
  3.  Funding for internships and staffing needs.
