Biannual, currently flowering big time. Flower stalks grow up to 5' tall. Pollinator magnet and butterfly host plant, and the only member of its genus native to North America! Plant in a moist area with part-full sun. Caution: Do not rub Heracleum maximum sap on your skin and then expose your skin to sunlight- it causes a dermatological reaction. Wear gloves when handling the plant. Definitely worth it, though. Such a cool plant.
