Visiting Scholars DS2019 Fee

The UW School of Law works with the International Scholars Operations (ISO) office to issue your “Certificate of Eligibility” DS2019, which costs $562 (new rate effective July 14, 2023) per person. This document is needed to apply for a J visa through your local U.S. embassy. Any accompanying family members in J-2 status also need a DS2019 document, so please pay for all J-1 and J-2 participants now.
