Comprehensive Psychological and Psychoeducational Evaluations

The University of Colorado Denver Counseling Center offers psychological and psychoeducational Evaluations for CU Denver students, community clients, and children. Specifically, our testing and assessment services include those for: Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Behavior Disorders, Academic Achievement, Psychiatric Disorders, Intellectual Disabilities, Gifted & Talented, and Autism. The assessment clinicians are doctoral students in School Psychology who are supervised by a Licensed Psychologist.

Psychological evaluations can last up to several hours depending on the age and needs of the client. Once the evaluation is completed, your clinician will write up a comprehensive report and then will schedule a feedback session with you to share your results. A copy of the report will be provided to you as part of this service. At certain times through the year we may have a waiting list. We will give you an estimate as to when your assessment will be conducted at intake.
