Supporting Mental Health in Autism for School-Based Health Center Providers - Webinar - October 21, 12:00-1:00 p.m. (MT)

In this webinar, we will present mental health conditions that commonly impact autistic students, including prevalence and what these presentations look like. We will describe basic strategies to support these mental health conditions in autistic youth. We will discuss further evidence-based and manualized mental health treatments for this population.

Learning objectives:
  • Describe common mental health conditions in school-aged and adolescent autistic students
  • Discuss strategies to support autistic students with co-occurring mental health conditions in school-based health centers
  • Identify evidence-based mental health treatments for autistic students
