1:00-1:45 2025 Born Lecture - Shyam Bhaskaran, JPL

• Statistical Orbit Determination is one of the fundamental courses taught at CCAR, taken by almost all students going through the program, and developed by its founder, George Born. In this talk, I will discuss how this class led to a professional career navigating spacecraft in deep space, covering missions that span the breadth of the Solar System in the first quarter of the 21st century. Along the way, contributions by CCAR graduates that made these missions possible will also be highlighted.

• Panelists spanning a range of CCAR’s technical disciplines, highlighting novel, real-world applications or problems encountered during their careers

3:00-4:00 Alumni Career Highlights Panel

• Panelists will outline their career arc beginning with their work at CCAR and highlighting some of the major projects or accomplishments that have been highlights of their career, demonstrating the reach and impact of distinguished alumni

4:30-6:30 Happy Hour / Social
