2024 Colorado Employment First Summit

The Colorado chapter of the Association of People Supporting Employment First (APSE) and the Colorado Office of Employment First (COEF) are collaborating to coordinate the 2024 Colorado Employment First Summit and Resource Fair. These events will focus on elevating Employment First across Colorado and sharing the vast resources available to people who are pursuing competitive integrated employment. Registration provides all-inclusive access to all three virtual-live Employment First Summit Sessions and access to summit content, resources, and recordings through an online learning management system. 

Summit Session Schedule:

• Session 1: October 8th, 2024 from 9:00am-12:00pm MT
• Session 2: October 16th, 2024 from 1:30pm-4:30pm MT
• Session 3: October 24th, 2024 from 9:00am-12:00pm MT

Summit Tracks:

• Employment First:This track focuses on promoting awareness of Employment First policy and philosophy, prioritizing competitive integrated employment for people with disabilities. It explores policy frameworks, collaborative partnerships, innovative practices, and progress across Colorado to elevate inclusive and equitable employment opportunities.
• Skill Building: This track focuses on skill enhancement, knowledge acquisition, training on essential and innovative technologies, and other professional development related to delivering high quality services, including Supported Employment and Customized Employment, Benefits Planning, for Job Seekers, Employment Specialists, and Benefits Planners.
• Services & Resources: This track focuses on sharing vast resources for employers, service agencies, direct care providers, people with disabilities, and families on existing services and resources including digital content, Youth and Transition services, access and pathways to services, and guiding materials.

At registration, you will have the option to Pay it Forward by sponsoring another person to attend the Summit.

Return Policy: The registration fee is non-refundable however; you may send a substitute. If you choose this or have questions, please contact vanessa.lehman@cuanschutz.edu. The Summit Planning Committee reserves the right to modify the agenda or cancel the Summit in the event of an unforeseen circumstance.
