CU Annual POCUS Course

The Intraoperative and POCUS course, offered at the state-of-the-art Center for Surgical Innovation on the Anschutz Campus, provides exceptional training and experience in the performance of point of care ultrasound for Neurosurgery. This course will focus on Brain, Spine, and Peripheral Nerve applications for improving safety and efficacy of Neurosurgical Procedures.

The course dates are January 17-18, 2025. Course will be held at the Center for Surgical Innovation and the Benson Hotel and Faculty Club.

This 2 day course provides participants with the opportunity to:
  • Understand the role of Neurosurgical Ultrasound in the operating room as an adjunct to surgery.
  • Understand point of care diagnostic and ultrasound guided procedures in Neurosurgery.
  • Understand the role of transcranioplasty ultrasound and its application in Neurosurgery.
  • Understand how to improve individual skill acquisition and implementation of ultrasound in Neurosurgery.
  • Understand documentation, coding, and billing requirements of ultrasound in Neurosurgery.

For APPs/MD registrations: a 90% refund will be offered 2 months prior. A 75% refund will be offered up to one month prior.

Prices range from $1,000.00 to $1,200.00 (price depends on options selected)
