Postpartum Online Support Group for UCSF Patients
Join our Postpartum Online Support Group, designed for UCSF patients. This group offers a safe and welcoming environment where you can listen to and share your experiences as a newborn's parent, all from the comfort of your home.
Group Format:

Our sessions are offered on a drop-in basis, making it easy for you to participate as your schedule allows. Whether dealing with sleepless nights, adjusting to new routines, or simply seeking connection, this group supports you.

What to Expect:

Facilitated Peer Support: Connect with fellow parents who understand the challenges and joys of the postpartum experience. Share your stories, listen to others, and build a supportive community.
Strategies for Postpartum Recovery: Learn practical techniques to support your physical and emotional healing during this transformative time. Discussions may include self-care strategies, nutrition, and ways to cope with the emotional ups and downs.
Stress Reduction Techniques: Engage in mindfulness and relaxation exercises to help alleviate stress and promote overall well-being. These techniques can be invaluable as you navigate the challenges of new parenthood.

Important Note:

While this support group focuses on emotional and social support, it is not intended to treat direct postpartum medical conditions. We can provide referrals to appropriate services if you have specific medical concerns.

Facilitators:

The group is led by Sasha Yamnik, CNM, and Dr. Patricia Robertson, MD, who bring their expertise and compassion to help guide discussions and support participants.
