The program is distinguished by:
● Medical complexity of patients
● Access to a variety of medical center settings, including infusion centers and inpatient adult and pediatric patient populations located within the departments of bone marrow transplant, oncology, advanced lung disease, cardiology, intensive care, hospital medicine, neurology, post-surgical management, and more

● Certificates in hospital-based and pediatric acutherapy medicine
Outcomes:
● Preparation for employment in acute care settings, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, and hospice

● Skills to develop new TCM-based services and programs for hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare settings
Structure: 8 hours/week commitment. Weekly Tuesdays (except holidays), 9am - 5pm.
● 50% - Direct patient care
● 30% - Didactic
● 10% - Supervision
● 10% - Research
Stipend: Trainees will earn a stipend for clinical hours up to $5,500.
Tuition: $9800. Partial scholarship support is available for qualified applicants.
Eligibility:
● CEUs with the California State Acupuncture Board
● One year full-time, or three years of at least half-time experience as a licensed acupuncturist
● Ability to process complex instructions required
● Familiarity with or interest in research preferred
● Contributions to community considered and preferred
