To take a CLEP test, you must first create a CLEP account and register for your test at: clep.collegeboard.org. The CLEP Subject Exam fee is $97 (subject to change) and should be paid within your College Board account.Military: Click the link below on How to Register Under DANTES:

Pay the $20 Administrative Fee to SWOSU only if you plan to take your test at SWOSU. If you prefer, you may take the test at an alternate location. You may have the score sent to us by choosing SWOSU as the score recipient within your College Board account.

There is no refund of the $20 Administrative Fee for "no shows" or for rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice. Refunds will be processed back to the credit card used to make the payment.

You must present your CLEP Ticket and your photo ID to Testing staff for testing appointments.

*Before registering for the College Composition or College Composition Modular CLEP tests, please check with your college about the requirements for college credit. Please keep in mind that SWOSU does not administer essays to students who do not have a SWOSU ID number.

*Please note that for credit at SWOSU for English Comp. courses, you must:

• Pass the College Composition Modular CLEP multiple choice exam
• Pass a SWOSU 90-minute essay for credit for English Comp. I
• Pass a SWOSU 3-hour essay for credit for English Comp. II
