What is a CPT Accuplacer test? It is a secondary test when your high school GPA is below 3.25 or ACT sub score is below a 19. CPT tests are available in English, Math, and Reading. For SWOSU, the English CPT is called Writing, and there are two Math tests: Arithmetic when your major does not require College Algebra, and Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics when your major DOES require College Algebra. A Reading test is also available, but there is no test for Science.

Where can you take a CPT test?

1. At a SWOSU test center (no charge):

2. At a test center at another university. Our SWOSU Test Center office will create a remote voucher for you through College Board’s Accuplacer platform. You will then receive a remote voucher confirmation email that will include a voucher number. You will need to make an appointment at another University Test Center. Any proctor fee at another university is the responsibility of the student. You will need your assigned voucher number to take the exam(s). All scores will remain in our SWOSU Accuplacer account. 3. Through Meazure Learning/ProctorU, a secure online proctoring service that allows you to take the CPT Accuplacer test(s) when it is most convenient, 24/7/365. You must test alone in a quiet room without disruptions. Each proctored session is up to $28.00. Our SWOSU Test Center office will create a remote voucher for you through College Board’s Accuplacer platform. You will then receive a remote voucher confirmation email that will include a voucher number and instructions on how to test with Meazure Learning / ProctorU. You will need to create a ProctorU account and use the assigned voucher number to schedule and take the exam(s). All scores will remain in our SWOSU Accuplacer account.
