OSU OIS Application Fee for STEM OPT

STEM OPT extension applicants are required to pay a $131 OPT STEM extension processing fee. The fee covers administrative costs, cost of services such as advising and processing of immigration document requests, immigration software program costs, as well as the cost of maintaining mandatory institutional compliance and record management for students participating in the STEM OPT extension. Once the STEM OPT extension processing request has been submitted to OIS, and it has been reviewed, processed and the related STEM OPT extension I-20 has been issued with a print date prior to the refund request date, the OPT STEM extension processing fee is non-refundable.
