          Camp: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

     Location: Dot Hicks Field
     Ages: 9th grade - 12th grade
     
    
     Description: Join us at our series closer against South Alabama at 12:00 pm and showcase your skills in a collegiate environment with Marshall Softball coaching staff and
                         players in a prospect camp following the game. All concepts of the game with be covered, pitching, hitting, and defense. This registration is for position players only. If you are looking to pitch in this camp, please use the pitcher registration link.

Marshall University Camps and Clinics are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

Refunds will only be issued to those contacting Aly Harrell (harrell16@marshall.edu) 48 hours prior to start of camp.
Marshall University has no control over the processing fee for debit/credit cards.
The debit/credit card processing fee is non-refundable and any issued refunds will not include the processing fee. Please understand that if you do need a refund, they can take some time to be processed.
 

         Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement/Consent to Medical Treatment

In consideration of being allowed to participate in this camp, the Participant/Legal Guardian hereby releases,waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue Marshall University, the Athletic Department, its Board of Governors,the State of West Virginia, and their employees (hereinafter referred to as the "Releasee") from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, my child, or any property belonging to me or my child, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasee or otherwise, while participating in this camp or while upon the premises where the activities are conducted.

To the best of my knowledge, the Participant is in good physical condition, and the Participant/Legal Guardian is not aware of any physical infirmity that would place the Participant at risk in any way while participating in the camp’s activities. The Participant/Legal Guardian is fully aware of the risks and hazards connected with this camp. The Participant/Legal Guardian voluntarily assumes full responsibility for any risk of loss, property damage, or personal injury, including death, that may be sustained by the Participant as a result of engaging in camp activities, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasee or otherwise. The Participant/Legal Guardian further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasee from any loss, liability, damage, or cost that may accrue related to the Participant's participation in the camp, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasee or otherwise.

During the period of the camp, the Participant/Legal Guardian hereby gives permission for the staff of Marshall University or this camp to administer appropriate medical attention to the Participant in the event of any accident, illness, or injury.

It is the express intent of the Participant/Legal Guardian that this Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement/Consent to Medical Treatment shall bind the members of the Participant’s family, if the Participant is alive, and their heirs, assigns, and personal representatives if the Participant is deceased, and shall be deemed as a release, waiver, discharge, and covenant not to sue the above-named Releasee.

The Participant/Legal Guardian further agrees that this Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement/Consent to Medical Treatment shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of West Virginia.

By signing this release, the Participant/Legal Guardian acknowledges and represents that they have read and fully understand it, and sign it voluntarily; that the Participant/Legal Guardian is at least eighteen (18) years of age and fully competent; and that they execute this release for full, adequate, and complete consideration, fully intending to be bound by the same.

In the case of a minor Participant, the undersigned Legal Guardian acknowledges that they are not only signing this Agreement on their own behalf, but also on behalf of the minor Participant, and that the minor Participant shall be bound by all the terms of this Agreement.

GUARDIAN'S CONSENT & WAIVER OF LIABILITY:   I have read the waiver of liability and fully understand its terms, understand that I give up substantial rights by signing it, and sign it (Indicated by checking the medical/liability box below) freely and voluntarily without any inducement.
