Youth Aquatics: Learn to Swim- Level 5/6: Flippers

6 years to 14 years old
*Participants MUST be 6 years old by the last day of class to be eligible to participate (please see parent and child aquatics classes if younger) *

Level 5/6- Stroke Refinement and Introduction to Fundamentals of Diving

Swimmers entering Level 5 must be able to demostrate all the completion requirements in Level 4. Lesson taught in deep water so participants must be able to swim laps and tread water before signing up.

Participants learn advanced techinque of all strokes while building endurance and strength. Swimmers learn to coordinate a shallow dive, tuck and pike surface dives, 2 minutes of survival floating, elementary backstroke and sidestroke, rescue breathing and learning of advanced stroke techniques.

This Level 5/6 class is being held on

Saturdays from 3:50pm-4:35pm (4 Week Instructional)
May 31-June 28, 2025
*No class on June 14, 2025*

AND/OR

Sundays  from 3:50pm-4:35pm (5 Week Instructional)
June 1-29, 2025

*Parents/Guardians are not required/allowed in the pool with swimmer, however, you are required to stay on premises, viewing from bleachers*

Please note: We reserve the right for our instructor to move a participant to an alternate class based on what is most appropriate based on ability level.
