Privacy Policy for E-Commerce Transactions

Chattanooga State Community College respects the privacy of its students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors and other customers and makes every effort to protect any personal information that it collects from them in conducting business. In conducting E-commerce transactions, such as credit card, debit card or ACH payments, it is necessary to collect personal financial information.

We have taken great efforts to execute these transactions in the most secure means possible. By policy, Chattanooga State Community College does not collect personal information like credit card numbers itself; instead, we partner with an outside service provider that collects the information and executes the transactions on our behalf. The policy also specifies that the provider must be PCI DSS certified, which means that it has demonstrated that its systems and procedures meet the stringent security standards of the payment card industry. The provider is also required to certify in writing that it will keep this information confidential and not share it with any party.

Refund Policy

Application fees, vacancy deposits, and products of the Child Development Center are considered non-refundable.

Tuition and Fees

A schedule of fees will be provided with the application to the Center. There are no reimbursements for scheduled holidays and administrative closings. Holidays and administrative closings are calculated into our low fees. There are no reimbursements for vacation or sick days.

Parents are required to pay monthly fees in advance. Fees are due on the 1st day of the month and no later than the 7th. Late fees begin on the 8th in the amount of $25 per month. Parents whose fees are consistently late may have services terminated. Checks returned for insufficient funds will be charged an additional $30 by the Bursar’s Office.

Fees must be paid regardless of the number of hours children actually attend. There are no part-time spaces available.

Late Fee Policy

Parents that are late picking up children more than 3 times in a single month will be assessed a double late fee for each child individually.

Late charges will begin 15 minutes after the childs scheduled pickup time, and will incur an additional $10 penalty for every 15 minutes thereafter until the child is picked up.
