BBQ & Brew

BBQ & Brew

As summer gives way to fall, join us on the green space at Auburn University's Tony & Libba Rane Culinary Science Center for BBQ & Brew, a guided tasting experience celebrating the rich barbecue traditions of America. Chef Eric Rivera and Dr. Sasha Hanchukova will lead guests through five distinct regional barbecue styles, each thoughtfully paired with a beer from the same state, showcasing the flavors, techniques, and stories that make each region unique.

Your journey begins close to home with an Alabama-inspired barbecue paired with a locally brewed New Realm beer before your taste buds travel through Georgia, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Texas. Gather around the picnic tables with friends, meet new fellow food lovers, and enjoy an evening of great food, regional craft beer, and expert insights. With five barbecue tastings and five perfectly matched beers, BBQ & Brew is the ultimate pit-to-pint celebration of American flavor.
